My Favorite Fall Festivals Full of Fun

Advertisements

Sharing our favorite fall festivals my family has been enjoying this season. The weather has been incredible, so grab your kids, a pair of cute boots and enjoy the FALL before its gone!

We spend a lot of time at apple orchards and cider mills, but these fall festivals offer a little more fun and cater directly to children in a different environment.

Upland Hills Farm – Oxford, Michigan.

The Fall Harvest Festival takes place every Saturday and Sunday in October from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  This festival has something for all ages.  Enjoy visiting the animals, milk a cow, watch a farm demonstration, be amazed at the Baffling Magic Show, enjoy a hayride in the woods, walk the storybook trail, pick a pumpkin, take a pony ride and finish the day with a warm donut and a beverage. Admission to the farm is $10 per person. (24 months and under are free) 10 or more people, admission is $9 per person.  Included with admission:  Magic Show, Farm Show, Hayride, Storybook Trail, Visiting the animals, and Milk a cow. Extras:  Pony Rides-$2, Feeding the ducks – $.25, Pumpkins – sold by size, and any food from the concession stand. Allow yourself at least 2-3 hours to enjoy all of our activities or easily make an entire day of family fun at the farm.

Ray Wiegands Nursery “HarvestFEST” – Macomb, MI

Sterling Frights at Dodge Park – Oct. 21, 2017

There’s live music, a straw maze, hayrides, inflatables, cider, doughnuts and much more at this community event. 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. FREE – one canned or boxed food donation is suggested! Although this event is described as “Frights” there isn’t much information involving halloween, so I am considering it a fall festival.
