This is a great side dish to acompany a turkey/chicken dinner and satisfy your sweet tooth!
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 2 Tbsp Butter (Salted or Unsalted is Your Preference)
- 2 Heaping Tbsp of Brown Sugar
- 1 Acorn Squash
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
Start by cutting your acorn squash in half. Use a strong knife, as this can be a little tough. Once your squash is halved, clean out all of the seeds.
Turn acorn squash upside down onto a foil lined baking sheet.

Bake in a 350 degrees oven until it begins to soften, approximately 20-30 minutes.

Carefully Flip the squash over so the insides are now facing you. They will be extemely hot.
Place butter and brown sugar into the squash. Divided Equally.
Place squash back into the 350 degrees oven & bake again for 30 minutes.

The squash should come out very soft & all of the ingredients should have melted.
Enjoy with a fork or a spoon!
